DESCRIPTION:
PerceptiVU devises systems and software solutions for a variety of industries, providing technical consulting in system and software engineering, analysis of emerging technologies, and an expertise in the fields of target tracking, pattern recognition and image processing.
PerceptiVU President, Ross Lamm, Ph.D., founded the company in 2002. Dr. Lamm is a graduate of the
University of California, Davis and received his doctorate in the fields of Machine Vision and Pattern Recognition.
PerceptiVU recently designed and implemented a 1U industrialized, Linux based system for target tracking and image processing applications.  Other products offered by PerceptiVU include a part inspection system (sorting appliance), an image processing and pattern recognition software library and programmer's development kit, and training for image processing and pattern recognition.  PerceptiVU is also currently developing a product involving digital surveillance and security.

DESCRIPTION:
INTEGRATION TRAINING
PerceptiVU offers free training (for up to 2 days) to help integrate its products directly into client systems that do not have communication protocol established.  PVU has already developed protocol for products from Wescam, Pelco, and Directed Perception.  Training is available both on and offsite.  Training courses are tailored to address issues specific to your organization's application and take into account a range of possible solutions.

USER TRAINING
PerceptiVU also offers instruction in tracker use and troubleshooting.  This training is intended to make novice and intermediate tracker users more proficient in their use of the PVU tracker.
